Carry & Coo began with a changing bag that had to be emptied onto a bench before anything could be found, and a wash bag that leaked across a suitcase.

The range is short: a changing backpack that unzips into a flat station, a hanging travel bag with a hook and upright pockets for bottles, and a small comforter that clips to a strap so it travels with the bag rather than in it.

Every listing gives the numbers that decide whether a bag works. Height, width and depth, the number of compartments and the size of the bottle pockets are all stated in inches.

Linings are wipe-clean and the zips are run twice before a bag leaves, because the failure point on a day out is usually a pull that stuck or a strap that gave way.

Orders placed before the daily cut-off are dispatched the next working day, and one national carrier handles every parcel.
